Forty eight players took to the course for today’s Stroke and Putts event. Results for the day were as follows:

1st: Barry Hoban with a nett 30 strokes.
2nd: Kay McLeod on 33 on count back.
3rd: Greg Ware, also on 33.

Ball or Chocolate:
Steve Johnston on 33, Greg Thornton and Denis Benger on 34, Teri Swanbury, Steve Swanbury and Les Johanson on 35, Bruce Martin, John Cox and Ken Brown on 36.

The Bradman’s award was won by Ian Wratten.

The putting competition was shared by two players, Greg Smith and Ken Brown, with both players scoring exactly the same number of putts on each of the nine holes played.

Nearest the Pins:
4th: Greg Thornton from Des Jackson on the toss of a coin after both players holed out for two.
6th: John Cox.
Ladies 7th: Kay McLeod (in the hole).
Men’s 7th: Andrew Gordon.

The Accuracy award was won this week by Robert McKirdy.

Next week’s game is a 2 Person Ambrose event with registration in the downstairs sports bar area from 7.45am and a shotgun start at 8.30am.
