Under beautiful sunny skies and a warmer temperature, 65 players teed off this morning for the Vets 4BBB Stableford event. Scores on the day were outstanding, a fact noted and to be acted upon by the handicapper.
Winning team on the day was the combination of Rob Nash and Dave Munro with 29 points on count back from Henry Anderson and Terry Lunn on the same incredible score.
They were followed home by 5 teams on 26 points, with the prize money for third and fourth places going to Steve Collins combining with Solveig Olsson and Ken Brown with his grandson Ceiran. Balls or chocolates were won by Marcel Kors and Don Russell, Tim Starr and Les Johanson, and Jeanette and Ian Miller with all 3 teams missing out on the 26 count back money, followed by Noel Downie and Enid Besant-Ryan on 25 and Len and Gail Rogers on 24 on a 3 way count back.
