Tuross Head Country Club men’s golf Saturday Medley Stableford competition was won by Robert McDonell with an excellent score of 41 points.

Despite recent heavy rainfall, score cards handed in by players, were in the higher scoring range. John Phyland was awarded second place with 40 points on a countback from Bruce Handley’s 40 points .Colin Houghton followed with 38 points and Steve Collins had a handy 37 points.       Nearest the pins were won by Reginald Apps, Bruce Handley and Ken Brown. Christopher Rowe had the satisfaction of scoring an eagle on the par 5 10th hole.

An annual Scoty competition, finalised in December 2020 and with points awarded each month during the year, was won by Colin Houghton with R/Up Allan Langford.

Tuesday’s medley stableford competition was won by Christopher Rowe with 42 stableford points, ahead of Lachlan Nordsvan 40 points, Colin Houghton 38. Matt Ryan  and Stephen Gardner each scored 36 points. Nearest the pins were won by Michael Coloe, I. Hosking and Christopher Rowe.

Golfers are reminded that the Memorial Shoey Classic two person Ambrose competition is being held on Australia Day, Tuesday, January 26.
