An Appeal from Vice Pres Dave Schmid
Can I ask players to make it a priority to repair their divots as well as any other unrepaired divots on the fairway. The course has had increased social players of late and some are not as vigilant as regulars in the art of caring for their course. If everyone does their bit the greenkeeper will be very happy.
Secondly, it was disappointing for the match committee and sponsors to see only one major prize collected yesterday.
It only takes one phone call to see if you are in the winners circle or to apologise for not being able to attend presentations. Thursday was attended all major winners – very pleasing.
