Tuross Head Country Club men’s golf Saturday March 14th.
Tuross Head men golfers compete for the single stableford Scoty Medal on Saturday and Bruce Cleeve emerged as the winner with a score of 36 points beating Allan Gannon on a countback.
Troy Kingdom, with 35 points finished in third spot ahead of Greg Booth and Colin Houghton who both scored 35 points.
The day’s event was sponsored by Graeme Bell.
Nearest the pin winners in A grade, were Marty Booth on the 4th hole, Dave Schmid on the 6th and
Troy Kingdom was closest on the 7th hole.
B grade player Frank Pomfret won the 4th hole, Bruce Cleeve was the best on the 6th and Ian
Kingston won the 7th.
Mike Allen was awarded the 4th hole in C grade division and Herb Muriwai won the 6th.
Thursday’s medley stableford was won by Glen Shearer with a high score of 39 points,
Ian McManus and Greg Smith with 36 points each filled second placing and
Tony Russell was the remaining award winner with 35 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Rick Bracks and Bob Hay.
